This is a particularly rich little amethyst from a new, as yet unnamed claim in the Goboboseb Mountains, Namibia. It's a self-standing crystal with excellent lustre, deeply saturated colour and strong presence for its size.
The colour makes the crystal appear jelly-like through the top half, while at the lower portion it transforms into a dense, purple cloud. Within the termination is a sharply defined darker phantom, clearly visible from several angles and intensified when the crystal is backlit.
The main crystal exhibits stepped growth and smaller side development, while the surface has a fine natural texture that catches the light beautifully without interrupting the gloss. The termination remains sharp and well proportioned, and the whole specimen feels unusually complete for such a compact piece.

What if a specimen sells during checkout?
Most pieces are unique and available in a quantity of one. A specimen is only secured once checkout has been completed successfully.

How do open boxes work?
Our open box service allows you to purchase specimens over time and have them held safely with us until you're ready for a combined shipment.
