This is one of those Milpo specimens where the associations are just as important as the fluorite. The focal crystal is a large green modified octahedral fluorite crystal that sits prominently across a bed of quartz, with lustrous pyrite and a significant cluster of dark metallic Geocronite-Jordanite perched on the very top layer.
The fluorite is gemmy and vibrant, with a surface texture that alternates between clean and smooth at the apex and etched beneath. The Geocronite-Jordanite is particularly imposing here, forming a thick cluster of complex, metallic crystals against one side of the fluorite, while pyrite is scattered generously across the quartz in bright cubic aggregates.
The balance of quartz matrix is just right and forms a sparkling foundation beneath the piece, with enough height and texture to give the specimen real depth and dimension. While there's is no single obvious viewing angle, the specimen sits beautifully on its own in a number of ways, which changes the balance of the dominant crystal completely. Spectacular
